Nerdfighter Gang Sign

Hello to all fellow Nerdfighters! I'm relatively new to Nerdfighteria and as a Rite of Passage I am taking it upon myself to watch ALL Vlogbrothers' videos. I'm currently half way through and I thought I would have some fun and design a Nerdfighter Shirt. So here is the work in progress.

What I want you to do is tell me if the design looks better with or without the elbows. Also feel free to critique the entire image, but let me know your elbow preference.

This was my first major usage of the Pen tool, aside from occasional rendering.

P.S. The colors are just to give an idea of the different selections, these aren't the final color choices.

P.P.S. After reading what I wrote it kinda sounds like Hank talking . . . weird.
